Then and Now

YouTube Then

Site Changes

These 3 sites have changed a lot through out the years. Some have changed completely and others just changed the look of the website. YouTube has been open to the web since 2005, there were still videos, but the look changed completely, it has became more easy to navigate through. Amazon has been open to the web since 1998, same thing with YouTube and that only the interface has changed. FaceBook has been open to the web since 1998 too, but at first it was called AboutFace.com, everything was different about FaceBook, the name, the logo, and the interface.

Coding

The coding on Facebook and Youtube both had partially the same coding except on Facebook the name changed and just the layout coding changed. But, on Amazon, the 2016 coding has quite a bit more coding than the 1998, since there is probably more things to shop for now. The font to the websites have changed ever since that fonts were realeased. After examining the coding more closely, I noticed that in the 2016 versions of coding more of the {Return} function was used more, they made the website easier to navigate through.

The Wayback Machine

Https://archive.org/ is the website I am using to find all these pictures. The website isn't only for showing old websites they also hold archives for texts audio, videos, images, and software. The internet archive has over 502 billion pages saved over time, it shows websites from when they were first created to the present, like Google and Yahoo. You can also see the news articles on websites like CNN from the past, it saves all the things that are being sold on online shopping sites and all the news articles on news websites. The website can also go back and compare what they have done before and make changes.

4th Quarter Project

Our team name was PIMIJ and we created the D.E.W. We talked with each other about different products and finally agreed with the D.E.W. We all had our role and did it if it was animation or video or graphic design. We struggled with planning out our presentation, some people did not show up to plan out how we will present. Practice our presentation before we even go up to talk. I would choose a product that affected the society more. I have learned more about Sketchup and how to make a short animation using it. I worked on the animation and made the D.E.W., my other team members made the set in the background.

Dreamweaver website

This is a website that I created that isn't actually "online" yet. This was created in Dreamweaver and it was a little tough to figure out all the things, I'm still confused a little. Yellow was the only color that showed the blue letters, it's not much just all the projects I have done and talking about my self. I learned how hard it is to create a website, it is a lot of work.

Sketchup House

This house is made in Sketchup and I animated it to go around the house. Sketchup is a 3-D modeling program, you can create pretty much anything in it. There are shadows in the house to make it look more realistic. To get the house design, I got a floor plan and made it based off that. This took about 3 days of 50 minute sessions to make this house and animate this.
